It's been awhile since I last posted in here. Anyway, on to some new ideas I had! And no, I did not think of these in the shower this time.

Pearls » I know we were having trouble deciding what to do for the Trading Post and the Prize Tickets idea, so I've come up an idea and I have research to back me up. Apparently you can find pearls at the bottom of lakes, so instead of having a prize ticket, maybe the staff could give out different colored pearls? Like white, creamish, light pink, and light purple. And in the trading post, whatever floor color the prize is on, thats what pearl you have to have to get it. And we can even include, when we put in the scuba diving DS for the lake, make it so that people can find pearls at the bottom of the lake themselves, although it would be extremely rare.

Scuba Diving » Jarek has come up with a wonderful idea of letting campers swim out into the lake and say something like !dive, that will have them quickly "dive under the water" to search for treasure. I have many ideas we can add on to this, starting off with how the camper will be able to dive.
-I was thinking that maybe there could be another quest, and the end prize is a pair of goggles. Only when the camper is holding the goggles will they be able to dive. Theres a bit of a problem with this though, seeing as the main reason to dive is to find something. And if we DS it so that it automatically places a random buried treasure in the camper's paws, the goggles would disappear from the camper's paws. I thought that maybe when the camper clicks 'use' with the goggles in their paws, and they're by the lake, the goggles would disappear from their paws and a DS button would appear on the camper's screen with the outline of the goggles, as if the camper is actually wearing them. This would keep the camper's paws free for treasure finding, and they'd only have to click 'use' again, with nothing in their paws, for the goggles to disappear from their screen and be put back into their paws.
-When diving under, we could create the setting of the lake in two ways. We could either make an area on the dream map and put in patches that make it look underwater-y, or we could use DS buttons that would create an animated underwater scene on the camper's screen, with a random item being generated and put into the camper's paw as their "treasure".
-Finding treasure at the bottom of the lake would depend on a roll of a dice in the DS, or something like that. Every dive, you'd get an item, or no item at all. I also suggest that we limit the diving to a certain number of times in a certain time period. If a camper goes over that limit, it could emit something like 'You've become tired and soaked to the bone! Why don't you take a break from diving for awhile and sit on the dock to dry out?'
-Campers can sell whatever they find on the bottom of the lake to an NPC nearby. It'll be like our own version of mining!

Money » If we decide to go forward with the pearls, we might want to consider a new form of money exchange other than beads. It might get a bit confusing, plus I've heard from a few people *coughNiki&Chicough* that our current bead patches look like eggs. I also gave my long-time friend Ethereal Goddess a tour of the dream map and explained some of the features we've add so far, and while she LOVED the dream map and the whole concept, she was a bit iffy on the "beads". She said that maybe jewels or something else would work better with the "camp" feel. So, what do y'all think? Should we change our money exchange from beads to something like coins or jewels? I slightly leaning towards coins, as my next suggestion might show. xD

Coins » So, new idea for our type of money that we can exchange. Instead of beads, we use coins. Gold, silver, copper. Nothing overboard, just normal coins. They'd work just like the beads, except if you want anything bigger than what a single gold coin is worth, you can get a bag of gold coins for a certain amount. For example, if the gold coin was worth 50g, and I wanted to take out 200g from the bank, the patch I would receive in my paws would be of a brown pouch of gold coins worth the value of 200g.

Well, that's it. For now. I know this means changing a lot of stuff, or adding more to our to-do list, but I think these would be wonderful new additions to our amazing dream! (:

» The pearls idea sounds fantastic; I'll make demo pearls and see what you guys think. For the prize room, that sounds alright but I'm a bit iffy on it if it requires any difficult DS.. o3o It sounds good, letting people find pearls themselves. As Chi said, if they don't find pearls they could find old boots, bra's, bottles, etc. or just nothing at all.

- If we get the Dream Package, then we Should be able to have enough room for the "underwater" lake. DSing it would just be difficult and un-needed. Although, this would cause issues with the tele command as in; How will they get to the underwater place? I'm unclear on how that will be done.
- For the limitation: Perhaps three to four times per half hour? »»» They could find what..?
- I actually really like this idea, although we may want to hold off until the Dream Package (not sure if you mentioned that) otherwise we 1. wont have enough map room, 2. Not enough DS space.

» I'm iffy on changing it; I rather like the idea of beads. Of course, my opinion isn't exactly valid right now. Anyhows, I shall read the next paragraph on coins to place further judgement.

» This reminds me of Cypress Homes a bit, which I am unsure of since we do have several things similar already. Don't tell me that all dreams can't help but copy eachother, because I'm tired of hearing that. I'm just saying, I don't want to really add anything else major that Cypress has, because I'd rather not make new enemies especially with that big a dream. This is my own opinion, I like the coin idea, but I'm not sure of it. Jewels would be rather neat though..? Like Diamond for the most expensive, Gold for second most, etc. Although, I suppose this is the same as well, hmm? Anyhow, that's all I have to say for this paragraph.

The coins sound more unique than the Cypress idea; although I'm still a bit iffy on it.
